Follow the steps below to setup a e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook Express v5/6.

You will need the following information before you begin

1 - Your full e-mail address (eg. fred@domain.co.za)
2 - Your mailbox password

This information can be obtained from the person that setup your e-mail address.

STEP 1 : Click on Start -> Programs -> Outlook Express and Outlook Express will open. (If the "Internet Connection Wizard" dialog opens automatically, skip to Step 4)

STEP 2 : Click on Tools -> Accounts...

STEP 3 :Click on Add -> Mail...

STEP 4 : Type in your name, click Next

STEP 5 : Type in your full e-mail address, click Next

STEP 6 : Select POP3 as your incoming mail server, Your incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.co.za (eg.mail.binarysystems.co.za), Your outgoing mail server is the same as your incoming mail server, Click Next

STEP 7 : Your account name is your full e-mail address, Your password is the mailbox password that was assigned to you, Click on Next

STEP 8 : Click on Finish

STEP 9 : Click on Close
