Additional files are required for users of Microsoft Windows pre 98 Se, these files are :

Microsoft Winsock Update : Updates windows socket, used for internet connections and used by Firebird database engine to communicate with the server. Click here to download this file W95ws2setup.exe (964kb)

Common Contol Update : Updates windows common controls, which are used by iWap. Click here to download this file 401comupd.exe (428kb)

Special instructions for Microsoft Windows XP:

On some XP, Antivirus and Firewall Combinations iWap will fail to connect to the Firebird Database Engine.

Firstly try and alter your firewall to allow port 3050

Secondly download and install this update and

Finally try install this second update
